Rocky Point Union Free School District Universal Prekindergarten Program
For the 2024-2025 school year, there are tentatively 66 half-day program seats and 66 full-day program seats available pending NYS guidance and final allocations. The lottery drawing will be held in mid-June 2024, pending NYSED funding approval. Preschool participation has yet to be determined and specific school placement or AM/PM seats for half-day students cannot be guaranteed. The Frank J. Carasiti Elementary School will not be a placement option. The deadline to submit an application for the UPK lottery is May 24, 2024.
In order to register for Universal Prekindergarten in the 2024-2025 school year, children must be four (4) years of age on or before December 1, 2024. Please complete the pre-registration survey below in order to be included in the lottery drawing.
NOTE: Students that are eligible to attend Kindergarten in fall 2024 may not register for the PreK lottery. Three year-olds are not eligible for the lottery.
