Thank you to Frank J. Carasiti Elementary School’s Second Grade Team! The second grade classes worked on a hallway bulletin board together in honor of April’s Autism Awareness Month.
“Our second graders reflected on what makes them unique or different,” teacher Ms. Julianne Warren said. “We focused on and emphasized the beauty of diversity and our differences, and celebrated each individual's distinct qualities, recognizing that it’s our differences that truly make us extraordinary.”
Each class contributed to a display – an oversized infinity sign, symbolizing their ongoing commitment to understanding and appreciating autism awareness.
