To help promote allergy awareness, Joseph A. Edgar Intermediate School students recently attended an assembly program with Kyle Dine.
Mr. Dine grew up with multiple food allergies and flipped allergy awareness into a topic that engages students by using his authentic stories, songs and puppets. The show empowered children both with and without food allergies to take allergies seriously and do their part to maintain an allergy-safe school. JAE students were engaged in understanding about food allergies and how to support allergy awareness.
The school extends special thanks to the Giagios and the Villafan-Kaplan families, who generously provided for this program at the school.
