As Rocky Point Middle School students gear up to move on to the next phase in their academic careers, they worked together to leave behind an imprint of the friendships formed, teachers who inspired them and overall pride in being a member of the school’s 2021 Moving Up Class.
In one of the school’s hallways, two Legacy Tile bulletin boards showcase some colorful artwork and the signatures of each eighth grade student. The resulting display demonstrates the pride and camaraderie of the Rocky Point Middle School community.
“This is a tradition that we hope to continue for years to come,” Assistant Principal Dawn Meyers said.
