Helping to promote the importance of healthy meals in a child’s school day and the impact it has inside and outside of the classroom is the message behind National School Lunch Week. During this week, we thank Mrs. Maureen Branagan and our districtwide cafeteria staff who are responsible for the planning and preparation of nutritious meals for our students.
Mrs. Branagan has encouraged students to recognize foods that are beneficial by sending coloring sheets to the FJC and JAE classrooms. For the older students at the middle and high school, a fun and wholesome word puzzle is theirs to solve, and the first one who completes it gets a special prize!
