TITLE: NOCTI Cosmetology Performance Test Evaluator
LOCATION: Rocky Point High School
EFFECTIVE: On or about May 17, 2024
SALARY: $50.00 per hour as per RPTA Appendix B
QUALIFICATIONS: A minimum of three years’ recent experience in the cosmetology field; Ability to objectively evaluate cosmetology skills.
JOB DESCRIPTION: The NOCTI Cosmetology Performance Test Evaluator will:
- Review the Evaluator guide for the NOCTI Cosmetology Exam to become familiar with the participant and evaluator instructions, scoring criteria, and procedures for test administration.
- Work with the NOCTI Site Coordinator to verify the assessment location is set up properly.
- Monitor participants during the testing session.
- Protect participants from disturbances and distractions as they complete the performance jobs.
- Evaluate and record each participant’s performance in accordance with the criteria provided in the Evaluator Guide for the specific assessment being administered.
