Rocky Point School District staff members held their own when they took the court for an exciting basketball showdown against the Harlem Wizards on March 7.

The Rocky Point varsity cheer team captured the New York State Public High School Athletic Association Class B championship on March 8 at the Visions Veterans Memorial Arena in Binghamton.

Rocky Point High School senior research students Om Patel and Zen Pinkenburg have advanced to the second round of the Long Island Science and Engineering Fair.

School Resource Officer Karl Allison from the SCPD’s Community Relations Bureau was at Rocky Point Middle School this week to talk with eighth graders about the perils of vaping.

When Lauren Verderosa found out her colleague John Mauceri wrote a children’s book, she thought it would be a great opportunity to share with her high school Child Development class.

Rocky Point Middle School’s annual Battle of the Grades took place before the winter break. It was a celebration of the students’ hard work and dedication so far this school year.

Frank J. Carasiti Elementary School second graders visited PJ Cinemas on Feb. 11 to see the animated movie “Dog Man,” based on the popular book series by Dav Pilkey.

The Varsity Club and History Honors Society with help from the Ninth Grade Class sold approximately 90 tickets for the Valentine’s Dance at Rocky Point High School on Feb. 7.
