Effective July 1, 2026 – In accordance with New York State Education Law Section 926, the Rocky Point Union Free School District provides the following information to parents and guardians regarding:

• Drowning prevention

• Water safety

• Safe and healthy swimming practices

When this information is shared

At the beginning of each school year, the District provides this information to all parents and guardians. Families of students who enroll after the start of the school year, as well as students aged 18 or older, will receive this information directly upon enrollment. This information also remains posted on this page throughout the school year, as required by law.
