Congratulations to Raylee Weisman and Trevor Green on being named Rocky Point High School’s nominees for the prestigious Butch Dellecave Award!

On Wednesday, June 3, 2026, Rocky Point Middle School’s 8th Grade Chorus, 8th Grade Band, and 8th Grade Orchestra, all performed at the Long Island Music Festival.

As another successful school year comes to an end, students are enjoying fun-filled Field Days featuring outdoor games, team activities and plenty of school spirit.

The Rocky Point Music Department hosted a series of “Introduction to the Instrumental Program” workshops for the Joseph A. Edgar Intermediate School’s 3rd grade students.

On Friday and Saturday, May 29-30, 2026, over 175 students in the Rocky Point School District performed in the New York State School Music Association (NYSSMA) Solo/Ensemble Evaluation Festival.

On Thursday evening, May 28, 2026, the JAE Intermediate School held their second set of Spring Concerts for the 4th/5th Grade Chorus, 5th Grade Orchestra and 4th Grade Band.

Rocky Point came away with “SWEPT SUPERIOR,” which means that each of the five performing ensembles received a rating of “Superior,” which is the highest possible rating awarded.

On the evening of May 20th, 2026, the Rocky Point High School held their annual Spring Concert!

On the evenings of May 13th and 14th, 2026, the Rocky Point Middle School held their series of Spring Concerts.
