Incoming sixth graders got a preview of life at Rocky Point Middle School during the school’s Sixth Grade BBQ. Students had the opportunity to walk the halls of their new building, test out their lockers and reconnect with friends as they prepare for the start of middle school.

After exploring their new surroundings, students gathered to enjoy a BBQ lunch and cool off with ice cream. The event gave incoming sixth graders a chance to become more comfortable in their new school while spending time with classmates and getting excited for the year ahead.
