Congratulations to our fourth grade students from Joseph A. Edgar Intermediate School who were selected to participate in the Suffolk County Music Educators’ Association P.E.A.K. Festival at Northport High School on Oct. 18. This annual event brings together parents, educators and students for a series of music workshops designed to provide a hands-on, collaborative experience in singing, dancing, drumming and music games. The festival offers families an opportunity to see the types of activities students engage in during music classes, and selection is considered a high honor. 

Students selected were Maggie Banks, Anna Ferretti, Lillian June, Brayden Solano, Sophia Stewart, Ginamarie Vespe and Olivia Wales. The Rocky Point School District congratulates these students for their achievement and thanks the families and music educators for their support.
