Rocky Point School District has been named a Special Olympics New York Unified Champion School recognizing the district’s commitment to inclusion, respect and teamwork. The honor was made possible through the efforts of teachers and coaches Jessica Gentile, Margaret Messinetti and Danielle Sohngen, whose dedication has helped create meaningful opportunities for unified athletes and their peers.
