Rocky Point School District Implements Administrative Changes
As the Rocky Point School District moves forward in its planning process for the upcoming school year, the district has implemented several administrative changes beginning in the 2025-2026 school year.
James Williams, who was an ENL teacher at both the elementary and secondary levels, as well as the K–12 ENL and LOTE Chairperson, was appointed Assistant Principal of Frank J. Carasiti Elementary School. Nicole Pletka, Assistant Principal of Frank J. Carasiti Elementary School, was appointed Principal of Joseph A. Edgar Intermediate School. Linda Greening, Principal of Joseph A. Edgar Intermediate School, was appointed Director of Elementary Education for the Rocky Point School District. Susan Randazzo, Director of Secondary Special Education, was appointed Executive Director of Pupil Personnel Services. Kristen White, Executive Director of Pupil Personnel Services, was appointed Assistant Superintendent.
“Each of these individuals brings exceptional experience to their current and previous roles in education and has worked tirelessly to build strong connections with the Rocky Point School community,” Superintendent of Schools Dr. Scott O’Brien said. “As a district, we are confident they will continue to honor the traditions our families value and work collaboratively to ensure a smooth transition for each of their schools.”
