Thanks Mrs. DiGiovanni!

JAE students had some fun and challenging events with school librarian Monica DiGiovanni before her retirement.
Every year, Mrs. DiGiovanni challenges students to read, and this year they logged their minutes online in Beanstack. The school surpassed the Principal Challenge and logged over 410,000 minutes, earning a special soccer game. The top 10 readers in each grade played soccer against the inflatable teacher team. Students started the special day with their annual Battle of the Books kahoot and in the afternoon they all went outside to watch the action.
Congratulations to the top readers in each grade level. Grade 3: Quinn Bittner, James Bruce, Jonathan Dickson, Genevieve Gorman, Piper Lamm, Meghan Lewis, Achilles Makidis-Coleman, Brayden Solano, Clara Vitale and McKenzie Wakeford; grade 4: Tyler Badamo, Ty Breyer, John Cohen, Kayla Gladysz, Brielle Izzo, Connor Koutsoftas, Aoife Marsh, Amelia Miller, Madelyn Mineros-Lopez and Benjamin Rothberg; and grade 5: Luciano Calo, Rylee Egenberger, William Fishman, Ava Guidice, Macie Koski, Troy Manzanares, Noah O’Brien, James Parker, Hailey Renois and Serafina Sirico.
