JAE has introduced two new electives for fifth grade students aimed at broadening their skills and experiences.

Intro to World Languages: This elective introduces students to the cultures of Spain and Italy. Participants learn basic Spanish and Italian words and phrases while exploring the arts, foods and traditions of both countries. The class emphasizes hands-on activities and cultural appreciation. 

Outdoor Adventure: This course takes students into the outdoors to learn bushcrafting skills. Students practice making shelters, finding food and collecting water while developing an understanding of the wilderness. The class promotes teamwork, problem-solving and respect for nature.

Both electives are designed to give students opportunities to expand their knowledge beyond the traditional classroom and develop real-world skills. In addition to these two additions, JAE also offers Animation Design Studio, Cardio Games, Forensic Science and Games Galore!
