Continuum of Special Education Services from Least to Most Restrictive Environment

Integrated Co-teaching: Specially designed instruction and academic instruction provided by a special education teacher and a general education teacher to a group of students with disabilities and non-disabled students in grades K-12.

Related Services Only: A professional staff member such as a speech/language pathologist or occupational therapist works individually or in small groups with the student in the areas directly related to his/her disabilities.

Resource Room: Available at all buildings for the purpose of supplementing the regular or special classroom instruction.

Self-Contained Special Class: Students receive their academic instruction in a non-integrated setting with a special education teacher. They are integrated for some "specials" and are mainstreamed for academics on an individual basis.
