Goodwill, leadership and personal integrity top the list for our 12 High School students who participated in a fall cleanup at Camp Paquatuck, a summer camp and year-round respite care center for people with disabilities that is supported by many Rotary Clubs on Long Island.

The students – members of the school’s Interact Club –helped prepare the grounds and buildings at the Center Moriches campground for the upcoming season by raking leaves and cleaning cabins. They will return in the spring to prepare the camp for the summer camp season.

On behalf of the school district, a special thanks to students Nicole Bergamini, Emily Bono, Liana Brennan, Megan Buchler, Alexandra Carley, Madeline Carney Schmidt, Andrea Castillo, Karina Cooper, Annesch Deshpande, Brenna Kiernan, Jackson Normadin and Gianna Uliano, who along with club adviser and special education teacher Margaret Messinetti, continue to make Rocky Point proud by demonstrating responsibility, hard work, respect for others and goodwill.
