Superintendent’s Conference Day in the Rocky Point School District was a day for staff to participate in numerous wellness workshops geared toward mindful practices to coincide with the district’s ongoing approach to meeting the social, emotional and academic needs of its students.
Following a powerful keynote address by inspirational speaker John Perricone, educators and support staff took part in yoga, mindfulness, healthy eating, country line dancing, the benefits of essential oils and aromatherapy and numerous other wellness offerings.
