Frank J. Carasiti Elementary School students have been going the extra mile this school year to demonstrate strong character traits.
Each time a student was “caught” being kind, they were invited to write their name on a slip of paper, which was attached to their classmates’ slips, making a chain of links. Each class had its own chain of kindness, and this spring the class links were connected together to create one long chain of kindness. In total, there were more than 1,802 links.
