Students in Dorothy Burns’ Citizen Law class at Rocky Point High School attended a field trip to the Riverhead Correctional Facility this spring.
The students took a tour of the facilities, including a holding pen and housing units, and engaged in a discussion about life in prison with some of the inmates. The students debriefed on the experience in class following the trip.
