Rocky Point School District’s fifth graders in Joseph A. Edgar Intermediate School collaborated on an art project that shines a light on the artistic process and shows how a blank 3-by-5-inch index card is filled with creative possibilities. Under the leadership of art teacher Treewolf West, each student was tasked with coloring a single card that when pieced together resulted in a large mural with an eagle, Rocky Point’s mascot, soaring through the colorful sky.
