The Rocky Point School District congratulates three employees on their retirement. After 27 years of service, Rocky Point High School’s Rose Monz, the principal clerk in the athletic department, will retire. Joseph A. Edgar Intermediate School teacher aide Patricia Gibaldi, with the district for 40 years, and Rocky Point High School teacher aide Lisa Volpe, who served the students of Rocky Point for 15 years, will bid farewell to the school district.
They were each recognized with kind words and a plaque for their years of commitment to Rocky Point students at the June 14 Board of Education meeting. On behalf of the students of the district, a happy and healthy retirement is wished for all.
