Developing Positive Skills at FJC

Developing Positive Skills st FJC thumbnail177157
Students in Mrs. Iberger and Mrs. Fasano’s second grade class at FJC were not only treated to a book reading of a timeless fable, they are learning the importance of positive character traits to develop knowledge and life skills to enhance responsible behavior. The students listened to “The Boy Who Cried Wolf” with guidance counselor Ms. Jamie Adamski and talked about thinking before acting, how their decisions affect themselves and others, and positive and negative consequences. Ms. Adamski will push into the classrooms this year to teach character education, social skills development and positive decision-making, the building blocks used to develop positive and productive citizens.
