Dear Rocky Point Families,
Today marked the official start of the 2020-21 school year and I cannot tell you how wonderful it was to see our buses pull in, our school doors open and feel the excitement in the air. While there were new procedures in place and our daily operations looked a little different, one thing remained constant – the pride we all share for our Rocky Point school community.
On behalf of my administrative team, I want to take this opportunity to thank all of our families, our students, our teachers and our staff for their collaborative efforts into making today a success. A lot of preparation went into our reopening plan, but its success was only possible because of all of your efforts. From our youngest students to our most seasoned staff members, you each played an important role today and I thank you for your support, cooperation and flexibility.
As with any new beginning, today also helped us identify a few minor areas that we can improve upon and tweak to ensure the days ahead are even smoother. Please do not hesitate to reach out, should you have any questions or concerns. Together, we will make this a great year.
