Dear Parents/Guardians:

Your child’s schedule for the 2017-2018 school year will be available on the eSchool parent portal after 3 PM on August 17th. On the first day of school, your child should report to first period as indicated on his/her schedule. A final copy of the schedule will be given to each student at this time.

Please note the grade level of your child. Students move to the next grade level based on the number of credits earned. If your child remained on the same grade level as last year, there is strong reason for concern. This does not necessarily mean that your child cannot graduate with his/her class. It simply means that he/she did not have enough credits to be “moved up” to the next grade level. The schedule of any student who attended summer school will be adjusted when the grades are received.

Due to increased enrollment and state mandated programs, there is very little flexibility for class changes. The only reason to meet with a counselor is to correct an error on the schedule (ie. wrong class, wrong level). Corrections will be made on a first-come, first-served basis as follows:

Monday, August 21st for 12th grade students (8:30 a.m.- 11:30 a.m.)
Tuesday, August 22nd for 11th grade students (8:30 a.m.- 11:30 a.m.)
Wednesday, August 23rd for 10th grade students (8:30 a.m.- 11:30 a.m.)
Thursday, August 24th for 9th grade students (Following 9th grade orientation)


Regarding Changes: Counselors are NOT permitted to make
TEACHER changes or LUNCH period changes.
