Rocky Point secondary schools recently hosted their first Robotics Fair with much success.

More than 200 young students from Joseph A. Edgar Intermediate School and Frank J. Carasiti Elementary School visited the event to learn about the world of robotics and view robots designed by the high school and middle school robotics clubs. During the event, the robotics students explained how they approached building the robots and how the programs relate to the fields of STEM.

Additionally, there were several interactive activities for the younger students to enjoy. These included a remote controlled robot that the students maneuvered through an obstacle course, to a coding workstation on laptops.
