Baseball Soars to County Finals

Rocky Point High School Eagles soared high above the Shoreham-Wading River Wildcats to capture a nail-biting win during the varsity baseball team’s 12-inning, semifinal game on May 23. The game ended with a final score of 7-4.

The team proved their strength throughout the contest and will now advance to the Suffolk County Class “A” Finals for the first time since 2007. There, they will face Mount Sinai to compete for the title in a best of three game series. The first game will be held on May 25 at home starting at 4pm.
