Students Inducted to Prestigious Society

Rocky Point High School inducted 80 11th- and 12th-grade students into its National Honor Society chapter this spring.

During the event, Dr. Deborah DeLuca, assistant superintendent, congratulated the students before current members spoke about the society’s founding pillars of leadership, character, service and scholarship. The new members were then formally inducted by advisor Guy Reid and recited the Honor Society Pledge in unison under the leadership of Korinne Utting.

“Being inducted into the National Honor Society represents a wonderful achievement, as these students are being formally recognized for their efforts and accomplishments in the areas of scholarship, leadership, service and character,” said Mr. Reid.
