Did you know that the district regularly works to make connections with community-based organizations and support groups? As members of the local Rotary Club and its student division, Interact Club, students and administrators participate in the annual spring cleanup at Camp Pa-Qua-Tuck. These connections also afford opportunities to enhance classroom instruction. For example, through a partnership with the Rocky Point Historical Society, the district has been supportive of the Society's efforts at the Noah Hallock House Homestead. Through this partnership, students are learning about what life was like when the house was constructed in 1721 and are volunteering to catalog artifacts and act as junior docents.
